I can’t keep hogging the space on this gig guide for our own shows so don’t forget about our first Exposure Gig this Friday but there’s plenty of other non-Chordblossom shows on offer this week that are worth checking out.
Cabaret Rocks – Voodoo, Belfast – Wednesday 26th November 2014
Armstrong Learning are putting on a unique charity show to raise money for Beyond Skin. The clue is in the title as the Petty Youth, The Jury Disagree, Ryan McMullan & Gemma Bradley play as part of a Cabaret show.
Admission is £5.
RADAR: Droids – Bar Sub, Belfast – Thursday 27th November 2014
RADAR may not be as frequent or in a regular home but that doesn’t mean it’s any less exciting. Derry’s premier noise merchants are in Belfast ready to unleash their riffs on any unsuspecting punters. Their supporting cast features Different Ghosts and the Geneva Experiment.
Admission is free
PORTS – The Sandwich Company, Derry – Saturday 29th November 2014
The Foyle Folk Festival returns for 2014 with the magical PORTS topping the bill on Saturday night. Work on their debut album is nearly complete and it is one album we cannot wait to get our hands on. Expect some new material and a delightful support bill of Malojian and the Ard Ri Band.
Admission is £12.50 on the door
