Watch: Car Chase City – Zero Gravity

2014 EP ‘A Sober Sense of Reality’ marked out Car Chase City as one of the most impressive up and coming pop punk bands that our shores had seen for a while. Two years is a long time and since then the band have gone through several line-up changes and more markedly, a shift in sound. Where the pop element was ever present before, the latest iteration of Car Chase City forgoes it.

Their new single, ‘Zero Gravity‘ is a much grittier and bruising affair. There are still plenty of nods to punk but the newest addition to Car Chase City’s catalogue of singles is a much darker step towards alt rock. The powerful change in tone is further highlighted by a heavy hitting video full of testosterone and violence.
