It is nice to see musicians from Northern Ireland spreading their wings and taking their music to foreign shores. Currently residing in New York, Fiona Harte has just released her debut single ‘White Picket Fence‘.
Having worked alongside Duke Special and been chosen as one of Pan-arts Top Songwriters of the Year in 2017, there was a pressure for her to deliver something special.

Deliberately sparse in terms of instrumentation and production, there is plenty of room for Fiona’s vocals and songwriting prowess to flourish. Her vocals are deeply affecting and while the song is tinged with melancholy there are undoubted hints of hope for those looking close enough.
