Chordblossom Presents: Exposure #04

We’ve been delighted with the success of our Exposure shows so far but thought we would move away from the full band shows for a nice night of singer-songwriters for Exposure #004.

Chordblossom Presents: Exposure #004: Kris D Marsden, Jamie Sloan & Claire Hill.

Friday 27th March 2015 – The Bar With No Name – Admission: £5

Kris D Marsden has been on the Chordblossom radar for quite a while with Al Gilmore saying: “Marsden has a number of things going for him. He has a real warm-but-lived-in voice which crackles like a fire in the wee small hours, helping to convince the listener of the authenticity of the tale he is telling.”

You’ll like this if you’re a fan of – Neil Young | Elliot Smith | Ray Lamontagne

Hailing from Bushmills, we chanced upon the talents of Jamie Sloan through our Kickstart competition. His songs all come from personal experiences of heartbreak and teenage angst. His latest EP K.T. is a majestic offering that we’re very excited to hear live.

You’ll like this if you’re a fan of – Joshua Radin | Iron & Wine | John Mayer

Our final artist was also a Kickstart discovery, Claire Hill. Her songs are charming yet fragile compositions that marks her out as a promising young musician.

You’ll like this if you’re a fan of – The Corrs | Glen Hansard | The Cranberries
