Chordblossom Presents: Exposure #005: Shoot The Preacher, Petty Youth & The Twenty

Friday 24th April 2015 – The Bar With No Name – Admission: £5

chordblossom exposure #05 gig Poster - Full

Armagh’s Shoot The Preacher are rock ‘n’ roll through and through. You only need to listen to the infectious ‘Wasting Time’ to realise that they mean business. It’s very much heart on your sleeve music from the talented four piece.

You’ll like this if you’re a fan of – Foo Fighters | Gaslight Anthem | Biffy Clyro

If hard hitting bluesy, garage rock is your thing, then County Down’s Petty Youth are more than worth your time. Known locally for their tireless DIY ethic and relentless live shows even the godfather of Belfast Punk, Terri Hooley was impressed, “Yis were too loud!”

You’ll like this if you’re a fan of – The Hives | New York Dolls | The Kinks

More no frills rock from our opening act, The Twenty. Their debut EP, Camarilla found praise from ATL, Goldenplec  and as far afield as the US. At their core it is punchy, riff laden punk rock and importantly, delivered with a real conviction.

You’ll like this if you’re a fan of – The Undertones | Ash | The Ramones
