Dawsons in Belfast have announced that their Singer Songwriter Competition is returning again for 2014. The prize for the eventual winner is a Farida D-52E Electro Acoustic Guitar – Vintage Sunburst (worth just shy of £600), an EP recording package including 100 CDs (worth £800) and a showcase spot at the 2015 Belfast Nashville Festival.

To enter all you need to do is send n e-mail with an MP3 demo and some contact details to belfast@emsaudio.co.uk BEFORE Friday 24th October! Once they’ve had a chance to listen to all the submissions there will be four heats on 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th November before the final showcase event on 11th December where the winner will be crowned.
