Runaway GO Announce Debut Album Campaign

It’s an exciting time over at Runaway [GO] towers… the debut album is ready.  And we are excited.

This is no ordinary band so a standard release was never on the cards.  Fiona, Dave and Chris are going to tease us, by releasing one single from ‘Alive’ every month, for 9 months – before the physical release mid next year.

First release is the stunning ‘Ashes’ with haunting vocals from the ridiculously talented Fiona O’Kane who has been writing her own material since she was 14.  Joined with vocals and percussion from Dave Jackson and Chris Jackson on bass, Runaway [GO] are taking the UK by storm with supporting gigs for Bastille and sharing a stage alongside Editors.  The indie-pop band have worked with Geoff Pesche (Gorillaz and Dizzee Rascal) and Jonathan Shakovskoy (Stereophonics, Beady Eye).  They have self released six singles and ‘This is Real’ received national airplay from Radio 1.

Reflecting ahead of the release Dave said ‘ All our ambitions with this band, of wanting to play all around the world, it all started with ‘Alligator’ (the bands first release) but our sound has developed.’

‘If I now listen to what we’ve just done, it sounds to me more like I imagined if would sound.  We’re the band we wanted to be.’

And we are very glad.

The singles will be:

1. Ashes

2. Lover to Lover

3. Lightning

4. Alive

5. Crawl

6. I’ll Still Love You

7.Kite

8. Delicate Man

9. Home To The Clouds
