Oxegen to return in August 2013

Oxegen to return in August 2013

After taking an impromptu year out in 2012, many feared that Oxegen might be one of the many festivals to completely disappear due to a lack of punters and interest. Thankfully for all Irish music fans MCD chief, Denis Desmond has confirmed that the event will return in summer 2013. Instead of taking place in it’s usual spot in July, the organisers have opted to stage the festival from 3rd-4th August 2013 at Punchestown Racecourse in Kildare.

There are currently no confirmations of who will be headlining but after the stellar line up of 2011 it is clear the promoters have a lot of work to do. Rumours suggest announcements will be made towards the end of this month, so stay tuned with Chordblossom and we will bring you all the latest news and rumours.
