Watch: New Atlas – Young Hearts

Watch: New Atlas – Young Hearts

The end of 2015 marked the ‘death’ of His New Atlas but the birth of New Atlas with the outfit’s move to Liverpool and a strive for something different. Front man Eoghan O’Hagan calls ‘Young Hearts’ a ‘celebration’ of all the good things happening for them; it is something fresh and new.

Fans will hear an unconscious evolution of sound through Young Hearts as the duo experienced a burst of positivity moving them towards more upbeat ambient pop. However despite this change the single is still unmistakably marked with O’Hagan’s epic melodic vocals and dark lyrical undertones. The dynamic music video reflects the upbeat music. This is the first danceable single and hopefully not the last.
