BBC Four are putting together a new TV show to locate the UK’s Best Part Time Band. Produced by Wall To Wall Media the show is a nationwide search for the best non-professional bands across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
It will see respected musicians from some of Britain’s best known bands will embark on a road trip across the UK to hear talented bands play. At the end of each episode, five acts will be selected to compete against each other in a regional heat (to be shown on BBC Four). Here they will battle for a place in the Grand Final (to be shown on BBC Two) where one act will be crowned the UK’s Best Part-Time Band.
