Women's Work Festival 2017

After a very successful first year, the Women’s Work Festival will return for its second outing in May 2017. Curated by Charlotte Dryden and her team at the Oh Yeah Music Centre, it will feature a myriad of events celebrating women in music. Set across venues including the Oh Yeah, Start Together Studio, the Black Box, the Pavilion and Strand Arts Centre, over 50 artists/creatives/DJs will be showcased over the six days. Keep 24th – 27th May free as there is so much on offer.

One of the key events is a special showcase gig featuring September Girls, New Pagans, Beauty Sleep, Party Fears and ROE among others. Also noteworthy is a twilight rooftop concert from Katharine Philippa, In conversation with Sylvia Patterson, music journalist and author of I’m Not With The Band: A Writer’s Life Lost in Music and a Q&A with mastering engineer Mandy Parnell (The XX, Bjork, Sigur Ros).

You can find the full programme of events for festival below and we strongly recommend you get to as many of the events as possible.
