Watch: Thunder on the Left – National Insecurity

Watch: Thunder on the Left – National Insecurity

The new single from London based three-piece Thunder on the Left can best be described as heavy hitting. The band are gearing up for the release of their debut album with the release of lead single ‘National Insecurity’.

At barely over two minutes, the track is built around a mantra-like recital of ‘brush your teeth it’s time for bed, are you living, are you dead?’, from Northern Irish born vocalist and guitarist Carla. From here, it’s big riffs and guitar breaks and a chorus of ‘clones, drones’ as the band tackle dystopia and technology, a theme the band explore on the album of the same name. The band’s raw sound chimes with the DIY video.

‘National Insecurity’ is available for pre-order now on the band’s own label / imprint, Malevolent Records and set for release on 27th October.
