David C Clements
His is an epic and heavenly alternative folk; a mix of swelling melodies, heart stopping crescendos, and vocals touched with the ache of experience. His debut record ‘The Longest Day in History’ was released to critical acclaim in 2016 and while the follow up ‘The Garden’ took the best part of a decade to come to fruition, it was worth the wait.
‘The Garden’ is about empathy and escape, the mundane and the unmeasurable and features songs written with Snow Patrol’s Iain Archer and Jacknife Lee. Clements marked the release with a huge album launch show in the iconic Ulster Hall and is no stranger to special shows no matter the size or scale of venue.

Our Krypton Son
In the future, when we reflect on the greatest songwriters from these shores, Our Krypton Son, will surely feature highly. Chris McConaghy crafts music that is melodic but deeply intense. Back with new music, 5 years on from his critically acclaimed album ‘Modern Ruins’, it looks like we’re going to be captivated all over again.

Áine Gordon
Áine Gordon is a singer-songwriter based in Belfast. Her music blends melodic indie folk with narrative-driven lyrics, capturing everyday moments through themes of longing, resilience, and life’s uncertainties. Her debut EP, The Stray, weaves sparse arrangements with quiet observations. Gordon’s work resonates through its balance of personal detail and emotion, marking her emergence as a thoughtful voice in contemporary folk.
