Very few people could believe their ears when they heard the concept behind Gifted Live. It was ambitious, innovative and like nothing we had ever seen before. “Showing a gig for free live on the internet?” they asked, “That’ll never work!”. However it has been a huge success! Broadcasting live shows, featuring local talent, around the world for free over the internet! In a time where the arts are suffering, Gifted have swept away the doubters, selling out shows and gaining the attention of almost everybody in the local scene. We were able to sit down with organiser Paul McKay to talk about how the project started and what the future holds for itself and the music scene it supports.
