Belfast based label Champion Sound Music have announced that they will be hosting their very own night on the Upstage stage in the Body & Soul area of Electric Picnic 2014.
With such acts as Portishead, Blondie, Beck and Foals headlining the weekend, this is one festival not to be missed, now with the excitement of added local talent.
The night will feature all their signings to the label – Ryan Vail, Contour & Ghosts, UNKNWN, Talkboy & REPLETE, beginning at 9.30pm and going through the night.
I caught up with label manager Lyndon Stephens during the announcement. He said : “We are extremely honoured to be asked to host a stage at Electric Picnic as its been one of our favourite festivals for years and the Body and Soul area has always been our favourite bit of the festival .”
