MTV Crashes is hitting Derry-Londonderry on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th September and tickets for will be available to buy from 9.00am this Saturday 9th August from Ticketmaster.
Friday night will be gig night with acts still to be released and Saturday night will be Club MTV Night.
There are 10,000 tickets available for each night. Mayor Councillor Brenda Stevenson said there was huge excitement in the city since the MTV Crashes announcement. Encouraging the public to get their tickets, she said she was confident the gigs would sell out fast. “Everyone is talking about MTV and looking forward to attending another hugely successful music festival at Ebrington Square. It’s a fantastic coup for the city and a great opportunity to showcase our facilities and continue with the legacy of Music City 2014,” she said.
MTV Crashes will be a key part of a wider music and culture weekend in the city including Culturetech and Culture Night. More information on these events is available via www.visitderry.com.
So, how do you get tickets? Tickets will NOT be available via Ticketmaster’s phone lines and can only be purchased via www.ticketmaster.ie , following a postcode selection and limited tickets will be made available at local Ticketmaster outlets at Foyleside Shopping Centre and Cool Discs on Foyle Street.
Tickets are priced at £5 plus £1.00 service charge for the MTV Crashes Derry and £10 plus £1.00 service charge for the Club MTV night.
Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult and a maximum of four tickets per person will be allocated for each event.
To purchase tickets you need to select the correct billing area – taken from your postcode:
1: BT47 & BT48 Postcodes – If your billing address falls into this category you should request tickets from this allocation.
2: ALL other Northern Ireland postcodes select this allocation.
3: Rest of World – Anyone with a billing address outside Northern Ireland should request tickets from this allocation.
