Foreign Mornings – Springhill Avenue

Foreign Mornings

2020 has been a quiet year for local acts due to the recent pandemic affecting the live music scene. Acts have not had the chance to play live since March and many wonder when the next show will be. However this pandemic has been a blessing in disguise for some artists. Local acts have had the chance to write new material and tailor their sets for the day the venues open. With that being said, all this time spent writing new music has allowed acts to start slowly releasing their new material in anticipation of the return. One such act who has seized this opportunity is Foreign Mornings.

Springhill Avenue is the debut EP from Foreign Mornings, a 4 piece melodic rock band from Northern Ireland. Their debut EP is the perfect introduction to the band and their rock inspired sound. Combining this sound with lyrics reminiscent of Catfish and the Bottlemen, really grabs the listeners attention. If that wasn’t enough for you, the lead guitar melodies of Reece McGuinness really add that extra bit of fire to each track that make you come back for more and more. It will be a treat to hear the stand out track ‘Dreams’ live when things open up again.

Springhill Avenue is the perfect start for the 4 piece and certainly sets them up to come out swinging when the gigs are allowed to begin again.
