The complaint of many is the dirth of female musicians in the Northern Irish scene but thankfully, we can now add Jessica Doherty to that list. The talented songstress has already performed at a number of high profile events including Glasgowbury, MTV Crashes, Other Voices and Stendhal Festival of Art.
Her latest release, ‘Wolves’, shows a real sense of growth and development from when the youngster first appeared. Part of that may be the work of Conor Mason (PORTS) who has created a stunning yet haunting release.
