Frequently touted as one of our nation’s most talented songwriters, Chris McConaghy aka Our Krypton Son is set to release his sophomore album, Fleas & Diamonds in February of next year through Smalltown America. After an advance listen we can safely say it is his best work to date. We thought it was a little unfair to gloat without offering you a sneak peak too.
We are delighted therefore to be able to share the second single, ‘Relics‘ from Our Krypton Son’s new album. Fraught with dark undertones about the fragility of relationships and lost love and joy, one can only sit back and admire. The same thoughtfulness and introverted reflection is emulated through the accompanying video showing the monotony of our day to day lives, back-dropped against a dull palette of colours.
