Tyrone three-piece Think Laura Like Me have been impressing scores of new fans over the past few months with their Fu Manchu styled driving alt rock sound with raucous live shows around Belfast and beyond. Bass player/ singer Michael Coyle, guitarist Shane Sally and drummer Enya Fahy have also been busy in the studio, with a self-titled 3 song EP imminent.
The band gave the first taste of the release with rollicking single Walk Of Shame. The crashing drums, heavy bass lines and spiky guitar lines that make their music so kinetic are all very much present and correct here: Coyle’s cocky delivery of the defiant one night stand tale, coupled with it’s dynamic tempo changes recall Arctic Monkey’s classic comeback single R U Mine?, which as a first release is no bad way to start.
