Based between Belfast and Cork, Joe Geaney and Laura Sheary otherwise known as Kyoto Love Hotel have added to their slow growing collection of electronic pop with latest single ‘Machine‘, accompanied by a stunning new video.
The slow building ‘Machine’ is amongst the duo’s best as Sheary’s understated vocals create a picture of detachment as she sings ‘there’s waters in my ears now’. A beautifully layered and contemplative track from a duo making some incredible music, with movements that comes in waves from a slow clap to buzzing synth. It’s the second single to be taken from their first EP ‘Grow’, due this November.
‘Machine’, out across streaming platforms today, was released with an arresting, cinematic video from Shaun Doogan and Aoife McCann, featuring embryonic and aquatic shots of the latter’s twisting figure.
