We first came across Derry’s LAVENGRO as part of our Kickstart competition and are pleased to see the young band release their debut single, ‘Take The Fall‘. The five piece are making waves in the North West of the country and can already point to a performance at Electric Picnic as well as a UK support slot with Dublin’s Taken as indicators that things are going well.

‘Take The Fall’ is firmly routed in pop territory although the multi-layered harmonies and focus on guitar mean that there is more substance to this than a lot of the music currently clogging up the top 40. Based on the strength of their debut release, and a busy schedule of live performances this summer, the future definitely looks bright for LAVENGRO.
