A Litany of Failures Volume II brings together 18 bands from across the island of Ireland to showcase the strength of independent music. The compilation is being released on a double-vinyl gatefold and were celebrated with gigs in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Derry earlier this summer.
The endeavour shows what can be achieved from collaboration with the bands involved being able to split costs, play in new venues across Ireland and ultimately raise their profile something which would’ve been difficult going it alone.
Northern Ireland is represented by Hot Cops, Cherym, Ghost Office, Junk Drawer and Blue Whale and the prospect of new music from any of these artists is reason enough to champion and support this initiative.
A Litany of Failures is available to buy, stream and download at all the usual places with the vinyl available via Bandcamp.
