Bushmills Live is a very exclusive affair for music fans, in that is a money can’t buy experience. Usually featuring an impressive array of international talent with a few Northern Irish acts thrown in for good measure. This year is no exception with the 1975 being confirmed as the 2014 headline act.
The Manchester band are in high demand, receiving a huge amount of radio play and being one of the most streamed artists on Spotify. This has led to them selling out medium sized venues throughout the UK, remarkable when you consider in December 2012 there was barely 30 people in attendance at their Belfast show (read our review here). Joining them is Gary Lightbody’s Tired Pony, who will play their first show on Northern Irish soil.
The event takes place on 11th and 12th June at the old Bushmills Distillery. You’re advised to keep a close eye on their facebook page for chances to win tickets.
