18 year old singer songwriter Gemma Bradley from Draperstown is Northern Ireland’s only finalist in The Big Music Project taking place in London in February.
The Big Music Project is an initiative funded by The Big Lottery Fund. Gemma will travel to London for a once in a lifetime opportunity to win:
- A recording session at the world famous Abbey Road studios.
- The chance to perform at a live final at the O2 in London during Brits Week.
- VIP tickets to the Brit Awards 2015.
- Her track being included on the Brit Awards 2016 album.
Thousands of young people aged 18-24 had been involved in The Big Music Project over the past year and Gemma’s amazing talent has earned her a spot in a journey began in May when she participated in the online voting competition by uploading her song and video. In November she performed in front of a panel of music experts at the regional final in Belfast which secured her place in the grand final.
Gemma began to play the guitar at aged 9 and developed a fantastic talent and passion for singing and writing and has recently gained the support from the likes of Glasgowbury, The Nerve Centre and Youth Action whilst participating in gigs and festivals along the way.
Good Luck Gemma!
