Take a detour on your last minute shopping trip this Saturday 20th December and call into Belfast’s iconic Good Vibrations record shop for a day of music and pick up some stocking fillers.
Godfather of Punk Terri Hooley will be spending the next while in hospital after taking ill a couple of weeks ago and a group of volunteers have taken over the store in his absence.
On Saturday from 12.00 the shop will play host to some Belfast based DJs and musicians for a good ol’ shindig. So far confirmed is:
Jake Haye – (Dogg Ruff)
No Oil Paintings
Chasing Perpetua
Owen McNulty
The Dandy Horses
The Hard Chargers
More acts still to be confirmed.
Terri Hooley has long been a supporter of all things music in Belfast, many of your favourite acts out there wouldn’t exist without his influence so lets get stuck in and support the shop whilst he is recovering! Pop round to North Street and browse through lots of new stock including boxes of CDs from Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody, enjoy some live music and get some unexpected last minute pressies. For more details head over to: https://www.facebook.com/events/910581602293363/911060122245511/?notif_t=plan_mall_activity
