This Saturday 28th November, the Ossia Music School in Belfast opens its door to all children and adults interested in music tuition. The free event will give them the opportunity to work with some of the finest musicians in the country with a series of master classes in vocal coaching, guitar playing, drumming, bass workshops and much more, featuring a host of live acts performing on the day.
The school has been open for 25 years and seen a multitude of famous local musicians from Nathan Connelly from Snow Patrol, Cormac Neeson and Paul Mahon from The Answer, and David Bates from Stormzone learning their wares in the institution.
“If I had known about the Ossia School Of Music as a young musician beginning to learn my trade, I would have gone to the ends of the earth to be involved. It provides budding singers, guitarists and drummers young and old, with all the tools necessary to pursue their dreams. If it wasn’t for Ossia Music my band The Answer wouldn’t exist. That’s where Paul learnt to play guitar like a demon and sing like a bird.I’m very excited and grateful to be involved with Ossia in a teaching capacity and look forward to mentoring the rock stars of the future.” – Cormac Neeson (Frontman of The Answer and Vocal Tutor at Ossia Music)
The event runs from noon till 3pm but you can find further information on the event page.
