Less than a week after we brought you news of Local Natives UK and European tour dates, we bring you news from another Los Angeles four-piece.
Shiny Toy Guns – who haven’t released a track in the UK since 2007 – have confirmed they will release “III ” on May 20. The first single from this album by the electro-pop sensations, is titled Waiting Alone and is available for free from here: Official.fm
The song is being promoted by a stunning 7 minute film entitled Loverunner that sees a beautiful girl (lead singer Carah Faye) run cross-country from Los Angeles to New York City in a quest to join the love of her life. The band covered almost 6,000 miles through 22 states over 24 days in the making of the video. Check out the video below.
III was released in the US late last year and made the Associated Press’ Top 10 Albums of the Year list.
