Stendhal Announce First Acts Of 2015

 

Stendhal Festival of Art have released the names of the first acts confirmed for this years festival on 7th and 8th August.

 

Located on the outskirts of Limavady, Stendhal Festival of Art are now in their 5 year and are excited to announce a Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee is included alongside the array of international, national and local acts.  Headlining the Friday night will be the mighty ‘Donovan.’  With a career spanning 50 years and producing 27 albums to boot, this is a must see evening having been inducted to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Songwriter Hall of Fame in 2014.

Speaking about the confirmation Festival Director Ross Parkhill said: “Donovan is one of the most celebrated names in folk music with a catalogue of songs that play a part in the soundtracks to many people’s lives. It is a fantastic coup for Stendhal to have him headline our Friday night this year and we can’t wait to see him in Limavady.”

 

Local acts making an appearance this year include The Bonnevilles, Jason Clarke,Ciaran Lavery, Ryan Vail, GO WOLF  of course Chordblossom Kickstart winner Lauren Bird plus many more.
