United Tribes Festival Returns For 2023

After a successful debut last year, the United Tribes Festival returns for 2023. Set in the picturesque surroundings of Beatties Farm near Glenpark estate in Omagh, the 3 Day camping Underground music and art festival will take place from 30th June to 2nd July.

The festival provides a platform for up and coming Irish acts to shine, develop and network in front of all forms of audiences, whilst proudly maintaining its firm underground roots. In 2023 they aim to host over 80 artists across 3 stages.

The United Tribes main stage, predominantly featuring live acts from Ireland and Germany, covering all sorts of genres from: Punk, Folk, Hip-hop, Ska, Traditional, Grunge, Reggae, Indie, Metal etc. Headliners this year being Belfast’s NME and Iggy Pop acclaimed Enola Gay. A post-punk quartet who were Ireland’s most booked up-and-coming band for festivals in 2023, come see them the week before they play with Metallica at Download festival. Other festival favourites are, The Twisted Sisters bringing their fun and energetic live act back for a second year. Alongside a diverse mix of talent from well-established to rising Irish acts from north and south of the border.

The Alien Vibrations stage focuses on psychedelic Trance Culture bringing Live acts, DJs and visual artist to create a wonderland for the ears and eyes, come and listen to the hypnotic sounds and visual delights with acts from all over the world, Psy trance is a genre of music that goes hand in hand with festival culture the idea is freedom of expression and that’s what can found on a psy trance dance floor. They’ll be hosting legends like Mark Day and Mutaliens’ NI debut, following worldwide performances. With additional slots from Ireland’s finest Producers and DJs; Altered State, Lah Narrad, Sionnach and many more throughout the weekend.

The third area, the otherworld, brings together some of the North’s most forward thinking promoters and well respected DJs & MCs for a weekend of heavy bass music. Beginning each day with Explosion sound system and Guest Selectas, before Plan B a well-respected events collective based in Belfast bringing their electronic funky flavor to get our feet moving in preparation for the nights DnB, Jungle and Techno from Amen collective- supplying cutting edge underground vibes with their high energy sets. With acts from all over the UK & Ireland such as An Dannsa Dub, Swede, Deep Division, Shirley Bassy and more this is set be an amazing eclectic mix of Music like the north has ever witnessed.
