Ryan McMullan’s star has been shining bright for some time and shows no sign of fading with latest release ‘Ruthless Cupid’. The Portaferry native has broadened his repertoire even further in recent months by continuing with the indie pop feel on previous release ‘Rebellion’ by penning a foot-stomping anthem reminiscent of Kings of Leon.
The range of McMullan’s voice is utilized to beautiful effect as he rises from a reserved verse to a roar of the chorus which lyrically hits a place we’ve all been without coming off as clichéd – no mean feat in a pop song.
