North Coast music fans rejoice as the Atlantic Sessions returns for 2026. Celebrating their sixteenth year, the event showcases over 40 artists throughout four days in various venues throughout Portrush and Portstewart.
The 2026 edition of the Atlantic Sessions runs between Thursday 12 and Sunday 15 November. The headline shows feature a homecoming show for And So I Watch You From Afar, an unplugged set from Grainne Duffy, Ralph McLean’s traditional Sunday brunch with the weekend closed out by When Ireland Rocked featuring Pat McManus & Cormac Neeson.
On top of the ticketed events, there is also the annual music trail. The music trail gigs are free to attend and feature some of the best musicians and bands from across the country. There is much to see but we would strongly recommend the following:
- Sara Crockett / Portrush, Safe House Cafe Bar – Friday 13 November
- Cora Harkin / Portrush, Elephant Rock Hotel – Friday 13 November
- Benjamin Amos & The Arco String Quartet / Portstewart, Agherton Parish Church – Saturday 14 November
- Polar Bolero / Portrush, Holy Trinity Church – Saturday 14 November
- Tessio / Portrush, The Marcus Hotel – Saturday 14 November
The full programme of events including ticket sales and other information can be found over on the Atlantic Sessions website.
