Belfast City Council and Snow Water are teaming up to bring you a magical line-up of free live music every weekend until 21 December 2025, celebrating Belfast as a UNESCO City of Music.
Enjoy 20 days of wonderful performances filled with traditional and modern festive favourites, uplifting experiences, standout soloists, and plenty of sing-along moments with choirs. It’s the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit as you visit Belfast this Christmas.
Curated by Snow Water, its Director Carolyn Mathers commented “Snow Water marks its 10th anniversary this year so we’re excited to be showcasing some of our finest musicians – from choirs to brass bands, from NI Music Prize winners to jazz orchestras, from opera to our singer-songwriters, from trad groups to carol singers – we hope to bring a little joy, a little beauty and a little magic to the days leading up to Christmas.”
Performances will take place at outdoor locations across the City Centre, including City Hall, Grand Central Station and Royal Avenue, every Thursday and Friday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and every Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm – all admission free!

The keen eyed amongst you will have spotted that there is a Chordblossom Christmas showcase in there….
We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting one of the events on Sunday 14 December 2025 outside Belfast City Hall.
We are delighted to host Mark Hegan, Matt McIvor and Robyn Maddox at our showcase. They’ll be playing some of their own material along with a few Christmas themed surprises too.
