The summer buzz has inevitably settled down and the dreaded school year returns once again, but don’t let this get you down, as September is kicking off with some unmissable gigs.
Madam’s Last Discovery and Disorder – McHughs – 8 September 2023
Taking the Belfast rock scene by storm all summer with crowds of dedicated supporters, Madams last discovery and Disorder are set for a striking co-headline, this is one not to miss out on.
Ash (acoustic) – Oh Yeah Music Centre – 12 September 2023
Renowned NI legends Ash are set for their acoustic gig in Belfasts most dedicated music hub, the Oh yeah centre as an unforgettable album launch. This is a limited, compact event, in comparison to their consistent sell out gigs in packed and sizeable venues, once in a lifetime.
Casual Riots – Limelight – 14 September 2023
Indie rock five-piece Casual riots headline Limelight 2 upon the release of several spirited classically danceable indie singles, with support from the newly rising shoegazey post-punk trio Makeshift art bar.
Moonboot – Empire – 14 September 2023
The undeniably atmospheric indie-funk four-piece Moonboot headline Empire, following the release of fresh single ‘Feel’, a journey of soulful jazz alongside heartfelt lyricism, a certainly exciting addition to the scene. Alongside, Fatmunk, a similarly jazzy groove act as well as the renowned Disorder are set to support.
Stratford Rise – Deers Head – 15 September 2023
Old Crows promotions never fails to go all out for a gig, and this is no exception. Described as ‘a force of nature’ live, rebellious grungey noise Stratford rise headline, with support from Cork-based The last vinci, providing just as much energy with alternative rock bangers. Additionally, newcomers Franklin take the stage.
