Belfast’s Rachael Boyd has marked the release of her new single ‘Esoteric Path’ by simultaneously revealing a live video of the track and a remix by Belfast artist James Bruce aka Oaks.
The new single is impressively written, recorded and produced entirely by Boyd herself. The track blends the orchestral elements of violin and piano with electronic rhythms and vocal flourishes. The result is a chilled, experimental effort, as good as anything you’ll hear from these shores. It is Rachael Boyd’s first release since February’s ‘Recordings’, a collection of live tracks.
