Far from being a love song, front man Paul Connolly confirms “It’s a song about youthful dreams and hope being sold off to the highest bidder. It’s a blitzkrieg hymn for our generation. We’re all wide awake and sick and tired of being sick, tired, skint, zero-houred and on the recession shelf.”
