:Panic :Over look set to be the next breakout band from Bangor, Co Down. From humble beginnings, the indie rock quartet continue to stack up the plaudits and admirers both at home and as far away as Japan. Their last Belfast gig was packed to the rafters so we are delighted to welcome them to the hallowed Empire stage for GIFTED on Thursday 30 October 2025.
We are also pleased to announce that they will be joined on the night by Penny’s Band and Klyda.

This is an early show with doors opening at 7pm and curfew at 10.45pm.

:Panic :Over are Reuben Curran, Charlie Gribbons, Dharesh McCarthy, and Ben Simms. Their career got off to a flyer when they defeated over 50 bands from across Ireland to claim the title of ‘Band of the Year’, in Rockshore’s Battle of the Bands in summer 2023. Since then they’ve signed to Warner Music Group for Sync Licensing and Publishing, been Named in the Hotpress – Hot for 2025 – Acts of the Year and The Belfast Telegraph – 10 of the Best for 2025. Packed out their Output Belfast showcase event & played a showcase for the Music Venue Trust in the world famous 100 Club in London.
On top of that the band represented NI in Osaka, Japan as part of the World Expo 2025 for BPI. Their music has been featured on major sporting coverage, with Paper Planes chosen by ITV Sport for use in the big closing montage of the England vs Ireland 6 Nations Rugby clash. UEFA also chose Part of Something for the official song of the u19s Euros 2024 Opening Ceremony, and the BBC and ITV picked up three tracks from their debut album, in their coverage of the Senior Tournament – to audiences of over 20m.

Penny’s Band
Penny’s Band are one of the most exciting new acts to emerge from Northern Ireland’s music scene. Formed in 2023 through a chance encounter at a charity fundraiser, the band has quickly built a reputation for their electrifying live performances and anthemic storytelling. Their sound blends raw energy with heartfelt narratives, reflecting both their personal experiences and the cultural heartbeat of Northern Ireland.

Klyda
Klyda is an alternative indie rock band from Belfast. They are inspired by artists such as Smashing Pumpkins, Phoebe Bridgers and Radiohead which shines through on their debut EP entitled ‘Catching Radio Signals’. While their recorded material is full of promise, the band have grown their fan base with their passionate and engaging live shows including memorable sets at Gazefest & Stendhal Festival.
