Output Belfast is the largest annual one-day music conference and showcase in Ireland and returns on Thursday 25 September 2025. Presented by Belfast City Council, Belfast City of Music and programmed by Score Draw Music, it’s a key event in Northern Ireland’s music calendar .
This year the opening keynote features Crispin Hunt (Chairman – PRS for Music), – the voice reshaping how creators receive their composition royalties. Tom Gray – Mercury Prize-winning musician, music-rights activist and Chair of the Ivors Academy as well as Naomi Pohl (General Secretary – Musicians’ Union) – The fearless advocate championing artists’ rights in an AI-disrupted landscape.
Across the day there will be 28 different events/talks/panels for musicians and those who work in the industry to sink their teeth into. Whether you’re interested in streaming payments, sync deals, styling your brand, touring or pitching music, there is something for everyone. The events will take place between the MAC and the Oh Yeah Centre.
Spaces for each of the events are limited so we recommend you book your sessions well in advance. Output Belfast 2025 Session Applications
Of course a big part of Output is also the evening showcases which will thankfully be returning as well. The Cathedral Quarter and its venues will be packed with the hottest new artist from these shores. The line-ups are still to be announced (we can’t wait to share ours) so keep an eye out on social media for the big reveal.
If you are interested in playing one of the evening showcases, you can apply via their Emerging Talent stream. You must be based in NI, have not released an album and have not played Output before.
Full details about the Conference and the Evening showcases can be found over on the Output Belfast website.
