This weekend the beautiful grounds of Glenarm Castle will again host the Dalriada Festival. The festival features a varied programme of action packed events to include World Class Highland Games, Europe’s Strongest Man, Live Wrestling, Wife Carrying Championships, Pipe Band Championships, Fine Foods, Chef Demonstrations, Pop-up Restaurants, numerous music and dance stages featuring over 50 acts, craft/trade stalls and exhibitions, performing arts, children’s entertainment.
Being a music site we are of course most interested in the music side of things and Dalriada Festival doesn’t disappoint. Local music fans are well catered for with appearances from General Fiasco, Ryan McMullan, Gareth Dunlop, Blue Americans, Runabay and Ben Glover.
