Having won our Kickstart competition in 2013, you could say that Those Ghosts have a special place in our hearts and Chordblossom’s history.
Thankfully that love and appreciation has been reciprocated in that the lads from Strabane are very kindly offering us the chance to show off their latest single and video to you lovely people before anyone else.
The third release out of a planned five, the new track in question is ‘Home’. While the band have been quiet due to work, new arrivals and of course certain members moonlighting in another Strabane band; this release underlines why they were the right choice to be Kickstart winners. In comparisons towards their previous releases, there is a leans towards the softer pace set by ‘Not Waiting For the End’ rather than the more up-tempo effort of ‘Bullets’. Their knack for crafting melancholic alt-rock anthems remains evident and only helps to rekindle our desire to hear their future releases as quickly as possible.
