Scratch My Progress – Vol. 1

We will never tire of saying that the Oh Yeah Music Centre is one of, if not the best resource for Northern Irish musicians to further their careers. Their annual Scratch My Progress Development Programme is once again open for applications.

The lucky applicants who make it on to the programme will have exclusive access to a host of music industry professionals, including lawyers and accountants, vocal coaches, PR experts. There is also mentoring in business and marketing with advice on interview skills and stage management. The artists will write and record a track professionally for a showcase EP and take part in a showcase event at the end of the programme.

The application process is now open, for full details on how to apply to be on ‘Scratch My Progress’ 2014, e-mail rebecca@ohyeahbelfast.com. The deadline for submission is Friday 2nd May. When you look at some of the bands and solo musicians that have gone through the programme and raised their game (Go Wolf & Katharine Philippa are prime examples), you should strongly consider applying.
