Gig Guide

Our fortnightly gig guide picks out a handful of must see gigs taking place across Northern Ireland.

As the days get lighter, gig season approaches faster than ever. Don’t miss out on the most distinct names in Northern Ireland, live and local.

New Pagans with Virgins & Klyda – Oh Yeah Centre, Belfast – 2nd February 2024

On a lasting high from two exhilarating records blending post-punk and indie-rock influences, an idyllic headliner. Joined by Virgins, Belfast’s leading shoegaze titans as well as Klyda, a rising name that I can’t seem to hear enough of.

Robocobra Quartet with Lifts – Limelight, Belfast – 10th February 2024

Big things are happening for Robocobra Quartet, gaining Album of the year 2022 at the NI music prize for Living isn’t easy, a medley of emotions astounding the local scene and beyond. Incorporating jazz inspired riffs as well as an unlikely fitting punk aspect, they are truly one of the most uniquely impressive acts coming out of Belfast. Supporting, Lifts, a Dublin based force brought together by a culmination of traditional Irish as well as an individualistic take on indie rock.

Martha Greer & Stratford Rise – Courthouse, Bangor – 11th February 2024

Martha Greer’s resounding ability to instantaneously move a crowd via lyricism reminiscent of Adrienne Lenker and the national is not one to miss out on. She is joined by Stratford rise, a newly formed rock four piece, upon the release of their sophomore single World’s fair.

How do I get added to the gig guide?

There are tonnes of great gigs happening right across Northern Ireland each week and our gig guide only showcases a fraction of them. If you are hosting a gig and would like us to consider adding it to a future Gig Guide, please send all the details to info@chordblossom.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Please be kind and remember we can’t feature everyone and where possible please try and give us at least 3 weeks notice.
