Cathal Francis is a 23 year old indie folk singer-songwriter from the townland of Culmore on the Derry/Donegal border. With a vulnerable and intimate style, he has been likened to songwriters such as Bright Eyes, Elliott Smith and Nick Drake.
Ben Cutler – The Deers Head, Belfast – 20th October 2023
Ben Cutler has reinvented his sound and he launches his new EP with a full band to demonstrate the full breadth of this new bluesy rock sound. Support on the night comes from The Thing Is… and Kyle John Suckling.
Matt McGinn – The Stand, Belfast – 20th October 2023
Matt McGinn is a singer, songwriter & producer from Hilltown in Co. Down. This is a special show in the stunning Strand Cinema where the audience will get a special look at his new album.
Joel Harkin – Black Box, Belfast – 21st October 2023
Autumn tour ‘One Final Cry For Help’ sees Donegal song-weaver Joel Harkin and Hull lo-fi indie artist Brodie Milner join forces across the UK and Ireland, stopping in at The Black Box. This show also marks the Belfast release of the songwriter’s new EP.
Stout Talk, Foreign Mornings, Disorder – Ulster Sports Club, Belfast – 25th October 2023
Big things are expected from the new Tyrone/Fermanagh outfit Stout Talk. This marks their debut Belfast headline show and the indie rock outfit are bringing out Foreign Mornings and Disorder for the ride.
ANJA – Ulster Sports Club, Belfast – 26th October 2023
Bedroom Community’s latest gig is a Halloween special. Headlined by punk rock powerhouse ANJA, it also features the talents of Martha Greer and The Funeral Rose.
Slow Healer: Phobia – Oh Yeah Music Centre, Belfast – 27th October 2023
A cracker line-up for an even better cause. Slow Healer are hosting a great night of live music that features The Fake Flirtations, Lip Gloss and Taylor Lally. All proceeds from the show will be going to the Northern Ireland Hospice. All acts will be playing equal set lengths and the most important detail is fancy dress is encouraged.
Problem Patterns Album Launch – Black Box, Belfast – 27th October 2023
Belfast-based DIY feminist queerpunk quartet Problem Patterns announce debut album Blouse Club set to be released 27th October 2023 via Alcopop! Records, and launched with a Belfast headline at The Black Box that night. Hosted by Table It, support from Belfast punks Mucker and Dublin’s Touch Excellent.
