Initially known for her time on keys in the well liked but sadly defunct indie Belfast outfit Go Wolf, Anna Leyden took the decision to move from Belfast to Glasgow in 2018. Her spell at university produced the first solo EP Sparks which was a nice collection of acoustic numbers that demonstrated great potential but left us wanting more.
After a short spell Anna Leyden is now back with what will be the first track off her soon to be recorded second EP. Written during a spell where Leyden felt overwhelmed, ‘Breathe‘, is a beautifully crafted piano led number. Laden with soothing but strong vocals and thoughtful lyrics, ‘Breathe’ leaves us looking forward to the next EP.
