With over 100 events covering music, comedy, film and more, Eastside Arts Festival returns for 2026. Taking place from 24 July to 2 August, the music program is particularly strong.
The highlight yet again is the Night Institute’s electronic showcase. Split across three venues on Saturday 25th July – Bullhouse East, C.S. Lewis Square and Banana Block they host a day and night celebrating all things electronic music. Norwegian disco stalwart Todd Terje returns to Belfast alongside a DJ set from seminal electronic pioneer, Leftfield at C.S Lewis Square.
Derry-born singer-songwriter Bridie Monds-Watson aka SOAK makes her long awaited return to Belfast with a headline show in Titanic Distillers Pumphouse. They are joined by the hotly tipped cosign.
Gareth Dunlop also returns to the festival for a night of songs and the stories behind them with Eve Belle for support.
For those looking for a more boutique experience, Gig in a Garden looks like the one. Two of Belfast’s rising stars in folk music Áine Gordon and Niall McDowell will play an intimate Sunday gig.
On top of these special events, you can also catch the Eric Bell Trio, Anthony Toner, Tia Bow and a whole heap of other great shows.
