If there is one thing that the Northern Irish music scene might be missing is regular events that combine great music and tasty food. Thankfully the lads from Gascan Ruckus have got us covered and are hosting the first ever Gascan Ruckus BBQ.
Set to take place this Saturday (20th August) in the Speakeasy Bar in Queens Student Union, the Co Armagh lads, have put together an incredible line-up for your entertainment across two stages. The acoustic stage features BDBR, Anna’s Anchor, Brash Isaac, No Oil Paintings & Goldie Fawn from 2.50pm.
Over on the main stage from 5pm, there will be sets from M Y L K, Life Goals, Brand New Friend, The Wood Burning Savages, Beauty Sleep, Fox Jaw, Hot Cops, Empty Lungs & of course Gascan Ruckus will close proceedings. As a treat for their dedicated fan base, they are also offering a previously unreleased track, ‘Have A Coffee Frank’, as a free download.
If that isn’t enough there will be a photo exhibition from Ciara McMullan on show, and the DJ booth will be manned by the GO Girl collective. Tickets, priced at £10 for the event are available on the door or in advance from WeGotTickets.
