It was a bold idea to host a gig in the underground car park of a shopping centre. But for Roots and Forestside, the first iteration of Grounded was such a success that they are back for another one.

Once again hosted by local music champion Ralph McLean in Forestside’s underground car park, Grounded will take place on Sunday 18th September. The format of the gig will model that of Jools Holland and features an enviable line-up of local talent.

The evening will see performances and chat with Aidan Logan, Amy Montgomery, Jealous of the Birds, Kyle John Suckling, Matt Evans and Travi the Native.

If you still need convincing (you shouldn’t…), have a watch of the video above from the first edition of Grounded to whet your appetite.

Tickets cost £15 plus booking fee and are available via Skiddle here – Grounded Tickets.
