Our Back Yard first appeared in 2014, took a break in 2015 but re-appeared in 2016 stronger than ever. Thankfully the (admittedly small) pattern of breaks has been broken as the organisers announced that the open air event will return in 2017 with its biggest line-up yet.
2017 will see garage punk duo The Bonnevilles bring their seasoned and hard hitting live set as headliners with The Emerald Armada filling in very reliably it must be said on support duties. The rest of the bill features a wealth of local talent from the folkish No Oil Paintings, the quirky Twisted Sisters to the straight up alt rock from Gascan Ruckus.
The Craigavon based festival takes place on Saturday 1st July 2017 and is a welcome addition to our list of festivals to frequent in the summer. Tickets start from £20 although more expensive packages are available that include parking and/or camping. It should be stressed that no tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event, therefore any potential attendees should make their way over to EventBrite to get theirs now.
