In today’s every changing world there are certain things you expect to remain the same. One that music obsessives in Northern Ireland expect is that Radar maintain its ironclad grip on promoting local musicians. Sadly after an incredible ten years the team at Radar are calling it a day with one final show.
What made Radar such a special event was that it gave local bands the opportunity to play a huge venue with great sound and lighting. You didn’t even need to worry about convincing your mates to pay in at the door as it was always free. The variety and quality of music on offer always meant that many left that Thursday evening Radar slot free to check out the hottest local bands and network with other musicians in attendance.
For its final swansong they have pulled in the big guns to ensure that they go out in style. Taking place in the cavernous surroundings of the Mandela Hall, you can catch Mojo Fury, Oh Volcano, Hot Cops & Jealous of the Birds for free on Thursday 22nd October 2015. Be a decent soul and make sure you are there!
