Not content with winning over the hearts and minds of those in their native country, Silences are now turning their hand to China. They have been chosen by the British Council to feature in their UK Music On The Go campaign across China.
The campaign aims to introduce the Chinese audience to ten great bands or solo artists from the UK. The bands’ lyrics and a QR code, will be promoted across China on 100 buses in Shanghai, 30 buses in Nanjing, Chongqing and Wuhan respectively, as well as in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou university campuses. The QR codes will then direct the Chinese audience to the microsite UK Now where they will be able to listen to the ten chosen tracks. The campaign will run until 18th July.
The chosen track is the latest single released by the Co Armagh band, ‘The Sea’.
